Halloween Fun

Well, it was a great weekend! It started out on Friday afternoon with carving pumpkins! Grandma and Grandpa Scott came for the night and helped. Mia loved getting the guts out, and Gideon wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole. Grandpa Scott took lots of pictures... I'll post some when I get a copy.

After that we went trick-or-treating with some friends in a neighborhood about 20 minutes away. It was fun. Each house requested you to tell a joke before they gave candy. The kids had fun with that. Gideon was a ghost, Mia was Elmo and Nathanael was a lion... and he roared a lot of the time!!! :)
Saturday was just a relaxing day, Gideon got a haircut, we attempted it ourselves and then had our friend Aaron fix it up. He looks pretty great now!
Today we went to church, our fieldwork is at Chapel of the Cross, in St. Peters, MO. Church and Sunday School was fun. Gideon really enjoys his class, today they learned about Ruth. Greyson teaches 7th grade, Mia, Nathanael and I go to a Mother's & Babes class. From there, we went to Washington, MO to Immanual Lutheran Church & School for their annual sausage supper and to visit with some friends from college. The fall colors were gorgeous on our way there. We had a wonderful time visiting, eating great food, and the kids played a lot.
Overall the weekend was wonderful. Now the kids are in bed, Greyson is studying and preparing for his week, and mommy is putting her feet up for awhile. Have a great day!
